Xiaomi’s Mi Band 3 Smart Bracelet NFC Version Will Soon Be In The Market
The updated version of the standard Mi Band 3 bracelet will launch with more upgraded features and has your health condition well covered
We have been waiting on the NFC version of Mi Band 3 Bracelet in quite a long time, but its signs are around the corner. About three months ago, Xiomi launched the standard Mi Band 3 and sold 640,000 units the same day it launched, a figure that was way less than the exact demand. That tells you of the value that Mi Bands have been serving to the community out there.
Mi Band 3 NFC edition particularly comes with dynamic features that will be especially useful in monitoring your health, day’s activities, sports data, making mobile payments and many more. NFC enabled devices are used in cashless transactions to make payments, just like those used in electronic ticket smartcards and credit cards. The Mi Band 3 NFC model will simplify payment transactions. It works with the Mi-Pay, which is Xiaomi’s mobile payment system similar to Apple Pay or Samsung Pay. As it stands, the NFC connectivity to the Xiaomi’s new bracelet is only available in China; there’s no information on whether it will be compatible with Google Pay and also there is still no clarity on whether the NFC thing will work in the markets outside of China.
How Mi Band 3 NFC Model is different from the Standard Mi Band 3
The first evident difference shows on the screen sizes. The new Mi Band 3 NFC version has a bigger screen that perfectly fits the circumference of the wrist for comfortable wear. A bigger screen for a smartwatch also means an extensive display which can accommodate adequate information. It is more efficient as compared to its predecessor as one can check up to 5 messages and for content that might be lengthy, a touch of the button will let it display on the next page.
Mi Band 3 NFC Model features 5 ATM Water Resistant rating design which has the potential to endure a dive of up to a depth of 50m under water. The water resistance properties in the bracelet are unmatched for making it fit for extreme sports like skiing and severe weather conditions like rainy days. You can have fun swimming and taking a shower with your watch on.
If you are the type that puts sober thoughts on personal health and likes to keep fit, then this is the smartwatch for you. It can be your perfect companion to your outdoor runs, riding, indoor races or even fast walking. The Mi Band 3 NFC Version has some health indicators including the pedometer, sedentary reminder, and sleep monitoring all at your disposal. You can document all your day’s activities conveniently, acquire real-time information on the distance walked and calories burned, check your heart rates whenever among many other personalised features.
The new NFC version also comes with a whole new Mute Mode. While on Bluetooth connection with your phone and there’s an incoming call, the Mi Band will display the caller ID and lets you accept or hang on unwanted calls. The smartwatch almost has the whole notification system encrypted in it so you can choose what do with notifs right on your wrist. It sports Bluetooth 4.2 technology for a tight connection to your smartphone.
We cannot wrap this up without mentioning the long standby time that its 100mAh battery offers. On a single full charge, the Mi Band 3 NFC version goes for the next twenty days straight before battery comes to zero. You could check up to three days of a weather forecast, check your mileage and all other data without draining the battery. The battery system is an area Xiaomi leveraged on their new version as most smartwatches hardly survive three days on a full charge.
