Xiaomi will Present New Redmi 6 on June 12: More Artillery for the Mid-range
Redmi 6 can arrive in more than one variant, with slightly different dimensions and features
The official presentation of the new Xiaomi Redmi 6 is officially scheduled for June 12th, exactly the same date on which the new Vivo Apex should arrive on the world stage – and maybe even its little brother NEX.
The launch event of the new Redmi 6 will take place as usual in China and should only concern the local market. The device has repeatedly been sighted at the Chinese certification agency TENAA and in other images on the net, but for the international market, a different variant could arrive, which should correspond to the new Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite glimpsed in recent days.
At present, we know that Redmi 6 should arrive in two versions, one slightly more powerful than the other, and in eight colors: blue, black, silver, white, gold, pink gold, purple and red. We will see if the Chinese company will present the Mi A2 Lite with Android One during the same event, but it is more likely that this model will be reserved for a subsequent exclusively dedicated launch.
Currently, the Redmi 5 range is made up of several models, among them the Redmi 5A, Redmi 5, 5 Plus, 5 Note, and Note 5A … all of them are very similar but some stand out by the screen, others by battery and others by the camera. For June 12 event, the models M1804C3CC, M1804C3DE, and M1804C3CE that have already passed through TENAA are expected to be launched. The smartphones are likely to be called as Redmi 6, the Redmi 6A, 6 Pro and 6 Plus.
The Redmi 6 is likely to debut with a 5.84-inch display with Full HD+ and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The mid-range smartphone will probably get a Snapdragon 625, up to 4 GB of memory and 64 GB of internal memory. The other models would come with different storage memory and RAM specifications – 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM and 16GB/32GB/64GB storage memory spaces.
For the photographic section, we would have an improvement with the addition of the double camera.
