The Vivo iQOO is a spectacular mobile that offers everything anyone needs for very little money. Too bad that for the moment it stays in China.

Vivo is another of the brands that have signed up to a trend that we are experiencing in recent times. To have a secondary brand that operates under its umbrella but that presumes its own personality. Honor does it with regard to Huawei, OnePlus is the shadow of OPPO, and now Vivo does the same with iQOO.

Vivo iQOO is the second line of terminals from the Chinese manufacturer. A second brand that almost without waiting since it was announced has staged its first phone that comes under the name of Vivo iQOO. The brand is focused on the gamer world.

The market niche addressed by the Vivo iQOO is the same one in which the Razer Phone, the Xiaomi Black Shark or the ASUS Rog Phone debuted.

Vivo iQOO is a smartphone that points directly to the best of Xiaomi. It is powerful, offers excellent design, integrates hardware of madness.

Specification

Analyze the features in detail of this smartphone is salivating before the prospect of having a call at a super content price. It seems to be Vivo’s strategy with iQOO, a way of acting that clearly reminds us of Xiaomi. Without a doubt, it is a joy because, as consumers, the atrocious competition benefits us.

Starting with the design, the Vivo iQOO will have a screen with the notch in the shape of a drop, which means that it does not have frames. It will have a diagonal of 6.41 inches built on an AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution that will also offer support for images with HDR (High Dynamic Range). In addition, it points to the fashion of the fingerprint reader under the screen, almost necessary in the presence of frames in the front.

For this, we started talking about its heart, a processor of the last batch how could it be otherwise. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 with an architecture based on 7 nm. It is the SoC that occupies the high range at this time and as in other models is focused on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The processor is complemented by a specific GPU, a base RAM of 6 GB (we already find more power than in most of the PC’s on the market) and 128 GB of internal storage that will also be expandable through a microSD. In addition, there will be a version of 8 GB and 128 GB, 8 GB and 256 GB and a cap of 12 GB and 256 GB of RAM.

The Vivo IQOO integrates a 4,000 mAh battery, which does fall short. It is powered by the 44W fast charge offered through the USB Type-C port. It has Super FlashCharge technology that allows a 50% load in just 16 minutes, or 100% load in 46 minutes.

The photographic section cannot miss the opportunity to use multiple cameras. The main camera consists of 13, 12 and 2-megapixel lenses, with a 12-megapixel sensor on the front.

Appeal to all

Although the Vivo iQOO is aimed at the gamer user, that does not mean that those who aspire to obtain the best possible mobile are left out. The design is not too aggressive no matter how much the manufacturer gives certain concessions to the “game” style, like the colors and gradients of the back and different elements of hardware destined to improve the experience with the games.

The smartphone aims at young people who want not only the most powerful processors and GPUs but also those who are looking for a breakthrough design without the whole team ending up with their budget. Without a doubt, it is a frankly desirable mobile.

Price and availability

As you can imagine, the mobile will be distributed in China and, at least for the moment, it does not have plans to officially leave there. It can be reserved from March 2 in the Chinese country at the following prices:

  • iQOO 6/128 GB: 392 euros to change (2998 yuan).
  • iQOO 8/128 GB: 431 euros to change (3298 yuan).
  • iQOO 8/256 GB: 470 euros to change (3598 yuan).
  • iQOO 12/256 GB: 562 euros to change (4298 yuan).

At the moment, it is unknown if it will reach other markets.
