Hmd Global was founded in May 2016 by several former executives Nokia and Foxconn; Headquartered in Finland, Nokia’s rights to use the Nokia brand are guaranteed for more than ten years. Hmd is responsible for R&D design and is produced by Foxconn. This means that the Nokia phones you see in the next ten years are all designed and produced by hmd.
In December 2016, under the guidance of hmd, the Nokia brand is back on the market and in January 2017 was officially released the Nokia 6. In the following 16 months, hmd has launched as many as 16 Nokia phones, including the latest arrival of which we will speak today: the Nokia X6.

The Nokia X6 uses the full screen design, with small “notch” on the top of the 5.8-inch screen.
Although Nokia X6 is a relatively inexpensive smartphone (starting at around 169 euros), it does not compromise and demonstrates attention to detail. For example, in order to maintain the consistency and integrity of the visual perception, the screen of Nokia X6 has rounded corners that correspond exactly to the curvature of the edges of the phone.
The screen is interrupted by a small space at the top for the front camera, and a border at the bottom with the Nokia logo.
Nokia X6 uses a 2.5D glass design for the back, perfectly connected to the edges of the metal frame. On the back we find the double rear camera with flash, the sensor for fingerprints and the Nokia logo, all arranged along the axis of the phone.
At the top there is a 3.5 mm headphone jack, while the power button and the volume button are on the right side. On the lower part we find, from left to right, a microphone, a USB Type-C port and speakers.
Overall, the Nokia X6 really surprised us. For a smartphone in this price range, it is not easy to be so careful and meticulous in design and choice of materials, such as using Corning Gorilla Glass to protect the display.
The Nokia X6 is available in three colors: black, dark blue and polar white.
Hardware and Performance
The Nokia X6 is equipped with a new generation of Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset (with performance comparable to the Snapdragon 660), with 6GB of RAM we can say that the performance is excellent. This chipset has 40% more CPU and GPU than the previous generation of Snapdragon 630, and there is no pressure on multitasking online.
Geekbench scores are good, single-core score of 1331, multi-core score of 4820.
Nokia X6 is equipped with the latest Android 8.1 operating system, with a user interface in the popular Aurora gradient. In addition to the normal fingerprint unlocking, the Nokia X6 also supports face recognition unlocking, which can be activated instantly by raising your hand (no need to manually light up the screen).
Nokia X6 has a 16MP front camera, and a dual 16MP + 5MP rear camera. The main lens of the camera captures the color and the lens of the secondary camera takes care of the details and details. In addition, professional-grade blurring effects are added and the focus intensity of photographs can be adjusted as desired.
Of course, for selfie lovers, Nokia X6 also has a new generation of AI beauty algorithm applied to the front camera. It can naturally adjust more than 128 details on the face and you can add animations very similar to iPhone X.
