Huawei Promises Foldable Phone with 5G Capabilities This Month
The foldable devices will get their time in the limelight this year.
Folding smartphone fever is starting, with more palpable announcements of these devices. Now Huawei, which promised to present its model even earlier than Samsung, now promises to show its 5G foldable phone later this month at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain.
The Chinese manufacturer is keen to highlight flexible device in the image of the official invitation to the event.

Regarding the device, it should use Huawei’s first 5G commercial modem, the Balong 5000, which is the company’s response to the Qualcomm Snapdragon X50 5G. The hardware should have the Kirin 980 processor, the same as the Mate 20 Pro, which should serve as the basis for this yet unnamed prototype – Mate Flex, Mate Flexi, Mate Fold or Mate F.
It is possible that this flexible phone comes with the M-Pen, the Mate 20 X Stylus. The device would be used in normal size as a smartphone with a back screen, as a tablet and as a small stand-up monitor.
With the motto “Connecting the Future,” the company promises a lot about its new announcement, which we do not even know how it will be called. The doubts will be taken on the 24th of this month, during MWC 2019.
