Huawei Announces MediaPad M5 Lite Tablet with Four Speakers

Huawei is expanding the MediaPad lineup with yet another tablet, the MediaPad M5 Lite.

Huawei released its new tablet quietly. Huawei’s new mid-range tablet, called MediaPad M5 Lite, has been added to the list with four speakers and a 10.1-inch screen and support for a stylus included with the device. The new tablet comes in the foreground with its loudspeakers and works with the old Kirin 659 SoC.

The 10.1-inch display of the Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite has a screen resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The device comes in two versions with 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. The device comes with four speakers Histen 5.0 sound system. With a battery of 7.500mAh, MediaPad M5 Lite works with Android 8.0 Oreo, offering the longest multimedia and gaming experience compared to other Huawei products.

And speaking of multimedia, this is precisely the aspect in which Huawei’s new tablet stands out, thanks to its four-speaker audio system tuned by Harman Kardon with Huawei Histen 5.0 3D technology. As for the camera, an 8-megapixel sensor seizes the back, and another of the same size appears on the front to make video calls.

Among other details of the tablet, there is no lack of fingerprint reader, support for 4G LTE networks and Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2.4 and 5 GHz, and Bluetooth 4.2.

Huawei tablet, which will be released with champagne, gold, and space gray color options, is also produced with high resistance to pressure. While we can’t tell if they prefer the old Kirin, the four speakers and durability of the MediaPad M5 Lite seem to be quite successful. The price of the device is unclear at this time.
