Chuwi Ubook – The 2-in-1 Tablet PC with 8 GB of RAM and 1 TB of Internal SSD memory
Chuwi plans to launch a Kickstarter campaign from February 1 to bring a new 2-in-1 to market. The Ubook called a tablet with the kickstand, Core M3 processor and keyboard cover should also be available in a version with 1 TB SSD.
Chuwi Ubook is a tablet PC 2-in-1 ready to make its debut on Kickstarter, the crowdfunding platform with which the company expects to gather consents and funds to start production of a product that challenges Surface Go, Huawei MacBook E and iPad Pro.
Chuwi Ubook is the next device that the Chinese manufacturer specializing in tablets and laptops. Chuwi launches a new PC family with the Ubook, the entry-level model with 128 GB SSD is said to have already been around 350 US dollars in the crowdfunding campaign (early bird discount for the first 500 supporters). Chuwi plans the new tablet with an 11.6-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution, a HiPen H3 pen with 1024 pressure points.
Inside there’s a core M3 processor, specifically the M3-6Y30 with up to 2.2 GHz and 8 GB of RAM. There are USB-C, 2x USB-A, Micro-SD and Micro-HDMI ports available. The battery will be rated at 30.4 Wh and should last up to 9.5 hours. The dockable keyboard cover is designed with water-resistant coating and backlit keyboard, the kickstand on the back allows installation angles up to 145 degrees.
You can already win the Ubook by the time the campaign launches, and you have to do some marketing for Chuwi, such as sharing the Kickstarter launch page with at least three friends. The 760-gram lightweight and 9-mm thin tablet will, of course, be preinstalled with Windows 10. Particularly interesting is the price of the 1 TB variant, probably the Ubook in this version is not exactly cheap.
